...and gave it a 9.5!

"Perfection" The key word for describing skyrim in one word, weither it be when roaming the many dark crepit dungeons found around the game, most of which are filled with terrifying undead or giaint spiders. Or when you're climbing the snowy peaks with your vision blinded by the heavy snowstorms, while hearing the sound of wolves howling nearby.

Everything in Skyrim feels perfect. And the epic sense that Skyrim feels like a real place, stays with you long after you've finished the main quest. Bethesda have really outdone themselves with Skyrim. With a game that Not only is the best in the Elder scrolls series, but also one of the best Roleplaying games in history. Words canot describe how good this game is. From the very moment you start the game, things pick up quickly when a dragon attacks and you are then left to create your character and carve out your fate as a dragonborn. And game does everything right to pull you into this story. Not only with some of the best voice acting in video game history, but also one of the most mesmerizing soundtracks to ever grace a video game. But also with gameplay that matches. From reading books to picking pockets. Skyrim feels like a real place. But not always a safe place.

Bandits to dragons alike make their home in skyrim. And thanks to the rewarding leveling systems you can fight them in any way you wish to. From powerful two handed swords and axes. To duel casting fireballs. The combat feels satisfying and fun. Yet simple enough so it doesnt become too hard to understand. You are given the ability to shield bash. And duel wield most weapons. Giving a good sense of freedom with how you play your character.

And its a system that is perfect. The woes of Elder scrolls oblivion with its moon jumping and pointless abilitys are now gone in favour of a more realistic and engadging combat. Which puts Skyrim above most other RPGs with its combat.

While not giving much away, the story is epic, the game will take you into frozen Tundras to enchanted pine wood forests teaming with deer and other critters. Helping set the mood for so many of these places is no doubt one of the best soundtracks to any game. The songs are of epic movie quality what really pull you in even further into Skyims setting and lore. And you are given a sense of wonder when you find a ruined temple on the mountain covered in a snowstorm while chants and hums from the soundtrack play as you make your way to it.

Skyrim is one of the best Games in recent times and this generation of consoles. If you havent played any of the Elder scrolls games. Then this is the game to get you into the series. The only minor issues are mostly bug related or glitch related. Though they do not harm the experience in any way.
